FRENDA is a private voluntary organization (PVO), non-Governmental and non-profit civil society organization, It’s charged with the responsibility of providing research, laboratory diagnosis, treatment of public health related conditions and sensitizing the community on neglected tropical diseases (NTDs) and reproductive health rights.

Activities of FRENDA

To achieve its objectives (FRENDA) operates as follows

To ensure equitable allocation and regulation of laboratory

Our Goal

Disease Eradication through fundamental research using hi-tech equipment, use of quality assurance procedures, proficiency diagnosis, testing, delaying of morbidities and treatment programs.
This is extended to the children, youth and elderly to improve on the health standards of living.

Health Research

We do research to learn more about human health and find better ways to prevent and treat diseases. This involves testing new drugs, vaccines, surgical procedures or medical devices in clinical trials, to find out possible risks, side effects and viscosity.
Health research helps develop new medical treatments and cures which improves people's health in the long run.

Community Sensitization

FRENDA provides first hand reliable health information to the general community as the information is passed on to those absent.
sensitization on reproductive health rights, HIV/AIDS awareness and prevention, Hygiene and communicable disease prevention, Drug abuse and it's effects, Early or forced marriage and many more community outreaches.

Sensitization is basically done on how the diseases and infections can be prevented and if you acquired; what are the signs and symptoms and possible treatments

Children Welfare

We provide orphans and children from marginalized poor families with basic needs (Food, Shelter & Clothing), medical health management (Medical Bills), Early childhood development and vocational trainings.
This is done in order to build a productive generation for future sustainability. it is achieved through a wide range of support from the government including funding agencies, community supports, and fundraising strategies.
